The building is so cool. Ambiance is truly 11/10. The menu noted some elements that were in other historic buildings, and I believe the elevator works! When we arrived, the hostess was really uncommunicative. We were confused about what we were waiting on (as we had a reservation) or where to go. Once we were seated, our waiter was nice and attentive. Food was good! Not going to change your life but quite enjoyable. And it felt very private. Would keep this in mind for a special occasion place.

The wine selection superb of course my company was wonderful Definitely, we will return. Wishing Daniel the best in his future endeavors!

The food was fantastic. Very delicious! Great flavor. The sauce was sooooo good and creamy. The chicken was fried perfectly, carrots nice and glazed not too sweet. The crab cake was excellent as well. The ambience was nice and dimly lit. The service was fast and friendly! This was my second time here and I'll definitely comeback.

Went here very recently on the recommendation of my barber. Initially, my wife and I were very skeptical as we were seated for almost 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. There seemed to be a lot of wait staff, but people were running around and not really paying or seemingly not paying attention. This very quickly changed, however and my wife and I had a fantastic meal very well prepared foods and finished off with live jazz music. Nice recovery, Tobacco Co, and before we had to say anything. We will be back and hope to make the 4-stars a full 5.

In Richmond for a shopping trip and got reservations for the 4 of us. The ambience is incredible. Old tobacco warehouse, exposed wood beams and brick. Otis Elevator from iconic building in New York City. They are incredibly busy, but hostess and wait staff are attentive and friendly. The place is a bit pricy, but worth it. Ahi Tuna app was soooo good. Filet, crab cakes, prime rib, scallops, etc, all delicious. Warm bread is yummo! They are decorated up for the Holidays! Many great selfie spots! Bathrooms are clean. Overall great experience!!

The Tabacco Company is beautiful restaurant. With such a nice bar and ground floor. I believe they host concerts there in the weekend. The decor is classic but charming. We were a decent sized party and were sit in one of their private nooks. We might have bit one too many in our reservation and felt tight. We ordered several starters to share. Among which the fried green tomatoes were a hit! For main, decided to spoil myself with a steak Oscar, replacing the potatoes with broccolini. What a treat! My party had several cocktails, with mixed feelings about their Old fashions. I went for wine, Malbec, and was quite rich.

Great spot in downtown. Very spacious with a romantic vibe. But also a spot that it seems older folks/parents/grandparents would really enjoy. The service was very good. We brought our own bottle of wine and they decanted and aerated it for us. We shared the blue crab croquettes which were delicious. There were 3 but wish it would have been 4. Appetizers are often 1 less than they should be when sharing with someone. We also shared an entree, the Tournedos Bayou, which they split on 2 plates and there was a $5 charge for that. Two filet medallions with a Béarnaise sauce that came with two shrimp, mushrooms, whipped potatoes and asparagus. And we added a side of mushroom risotto. We're planning to bring the in-laws when they came visit in December.
